The Goodfellow Symposium 2010
The Goodfellow Unit, in partnership with MercyAscot, and now in association with the Accident and Medical Practitioners Association, is pleased to announce that registration for The Goodfellow Symposium 2010 is now open.
Taking place at The Langham Auckland from the 26-28 March 2010. The Symposium will deliver to the theme "Pillars of Practice - Strengthening Patient Care Through Shared Education". A wide range of clinical topics will be offered, enabling you to underpin your practice with the latest evidence. We are delighted this year to be joined by AMPA.
The key themes for the Saturday and Sunday sessions of the symposium will be palliative care and youth health. Other topics include dental and oral health, Maori health, sports medicine, glaucoma and an array of Nurse led initiatives. We also have a stream dedicated to practical workshops and a stream dedicated to sessions with specialists in the areas of sexual health, dermatology, cardiology, endocrinology and gynaecology.
In addition, we invite delegates to attend a series of pre-conference workshops on the Friday, including Advanced Care Life Support, Immunisation, Shaken Baby Syndrome and family violence and immunisation.
GPs, primary health care nurses, pharmacists and other health professionals will find our multi-disciplinary programme has multiple streams with topics of interest.
The Goodfellow Unit is a registered national provider with the RNZCGP so GPs are eligible for CME credits. Nurses and pharmacists can add hours to professional development portfolios.
We look forward to seeing you in Auckland in March 2010.
