An Update on Contraception. Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) is promoted for its increased effectiveness and ease of use. Are we advising our patients correctly about what they can expect from LARCs? How can we facilitate efficacy for those who want to use oral contraception and what about antibiotics and the combined pill? What do randomised control trials tell us about hormonal side effects? This session will address these questions of interest to all doctors and nurses providing contraceptive advice.
